My great experience at the "Unleash the Power Within" seminar with Anthony Robbins

          Greatness is in all of us, not in just some of us. This is a concept that Tony Robbins instills in all that attend his "Unleash the Power Within" seminar.

          As many already know and for those who don't know, a little less over a year ago, I began to search answers which I questioned many times for years on why I wasn't living the life I constantly dreamed of and even though I knew there was no difference in me to those who were already living a life of abundance, I wanted to know how it was all done.

          My good friend, business partner and mentor Carlos Marin began living yet another one of his dreams last year in June when he started having his personal empowerment seminars. He convinced me that if I wasn't getting out of life what I wanted, then I had to attend his seminar. And that I did, and there was where I learned about Anthony Robbins. After listening to Carlos talk so highly about Anthony Robbins and how he had taught him to live the great life that he now lives, my interest for knowing more about Tony Robbins grew and grew. I looked him up on the internet and went to my local library to read some of his materials. Just a few weeks after that, I admired Anthony Robbins and knew that I had to make it upon myself to go to one of his seminars.

          I focused and envisioned myself truly attending one of his seminars everyday that I knew I would attract it somehow and I did! Being at this seminar was a dream come true. I was not able to buy my ticket just a day before the seminar but I constantly told everyone that I was going. And even though I hadn't even bought my flight yet, I kept believing and envisioning myself at the seminar meeting Anthony Robbins and on March 11, 2010, there I was, making one of my dreams a reality!

          The first day was the most impacting for me. I wondered where Anthony got all his energy from?! He started the seminar at about 9:30 in the morning and it was 12:30 am that night and I think I saw him take a sip of water once and there was no lunch break, and the amazing thing about that was that I didn't even feel hungry because he got us so hyped up with all his positive messages that nearly 16 hours went by and I wanted to continue jumping and screaming to the music and his enthusiastic personality.He is an amazing, very energetic human being! Being at his seminar felt like being at a rock concert only feeling more and more energetic as time goes by. Then the expected came....it was time to walk on fire! Yes, you guys heard right, I was ready to walk on burning coals 1,200 to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit! You see, by the time we were ready to walk on fire, there was no doubt in all of 3,500 people that attended this seminar that we could not do it. Anthony worked us all those hours and programed us in such a positive mindset that everyone was ready to do the unthinkable! And that we did! That was the most inspiring, daring and amazing experience I have ever experienced in my whole life. After I went through it and realized what I had just done, the tears in my eyes fell as if a water pipe had broken and there was no repair. It felt as if I had just woken from a dream that I didn't want to wake from yet at the same time felt so real because I knew that there was nothing in this world that I could not do, therefore; nothing or no one was going to get in my way from claiming what belonged to me, from living my purpose and the life of my dreams!

          The remaining 3 days of the seminar were just as intense. There isn't any words ever invented to describe the connection and oneness you feel with Anthony Robbins while he distributes his messages of encouragement, motivation and love, oh yes, you can actually feel so much love in this seminar that it actually brought me to tears so many times during the day. I started to feel embarrassed around people because I'm sure they wondered why I cried so much all the time. It was such an incredible experience that I know that I'm not the same person, if I was a good person before, I know that I'm a much better and loving human being because of the experience I had at the Unleash the Power Within Seminar with Anthony Robbins. I got to visit my parents, friends and family after the seminar and I felt so good being able to spread the message and feel very thankful to my family and friends for talking the time to listen to me and hopefully they too will make the decision to reinvent themselves also, I know they can do it and I will be there to help them!

          Anthony Robbins makes us aware on how important it is to think positive and makes us focus on why we should do the things that we have to do to live our dreams and makes us meditate on what will it cost us if we don't take action. He teaches us how to create lasting change by reinforcing a new empowering pattern until it becomes a habit, how we should always put ourselves in a peak state by focusing on what you love and the most important one of all, he teaches us how powerful love is. The most enduring, satisfactory and empowering love is the love you give unconditionally without expecting anything in return. That alone gave me so much to think about. Just the thought of being able to love that way gave me a sense of such true fulfillment that I literally saw my life as an abundant one because of this great love I saw myself feeling and experiencing.

There is so much more that I experienced at this seminar but it would take me weeks to finish it but I advise anyone who is looking for the true meaning of  life and how you can live the life you deserve, you need to make it upon yourself to attend a personal empowerment seminar, it is a must. Picture yourself living a life of abundance, health, wealth and prosperity and you shall live it. Keep your dreams alive, nourish it and protect it as I did mine and you too will find yourself making it a reality as I found myself going to this seminar when the odds were against me and all that I envisioned, resulted as I imagined it, meeting and talking to Anthony Robbins personally and giving him a great big hug and feel the love, compassion and caring that only can be felt with the one and only Anthony Robbins. And not only did I make that dream a reality, I also found myself making another dream come true by visiting the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa Florida with my daughter Melinda and my nephew and niece, Jonathan and Jesika, something I dreamed about because I've always been fascinated by the beauty of these amazing creatures. Now I can check two goals off my list and determined to cross out a million more if possible for years to come!

My meaning of celebration (posted on facebook Feb. 12, 2010)

As I started the day today with daily routines, with the first being to give thanks to our God for all that I have and all the great things that will be, I couldn't give enough thanks to the friends and family that wished me the best and remembered me on my special day.

Being in that state of thankfulness made me remember something that my daughter Emily (the 4th of my 5 children) asked me yesterday. Emily asked me, "Mom, what are you doing for your birthday tomorrow" I answered, "nothing really" and as I paused, a surprised expression emerged from Emily's face but I continued and said, "I really don't feel like doing anything, honestly" I added. Without me being finished with my reply, Emily let out a burst of laughter and yelled, "Oh my God, she really is getting old," as she looked towards Kimberly (my youngest) as Kimberly also laughed.

I laughed with them and then I began giving thought to what Emily had said. You see, for many years I thought celebrating was all about going out to dinner, having some drinks or going to any local club where I could "party hardy" But as years went by, I realized that doing those things did not bring fulfillment to my life, in fact, every time I would go out in the search of something I had no clarity on, I came home even emptier than how I left in the beginning. I must admit that I did in fact enjoy myself but those events never fulfilled my inner being; it didnt nourish the person that lacked knowledge to becoming a person that will leave a legacy on this earth. And with this, I'm not saying that I'm the only person that has the ability to achieve greatness because this ability is in all of us. Every individual is put on this earth to live a life of wealth, health and full abundance. This is not said by me but by the greatest mentors in the world like Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins and too many more to mention, google them up.

Today, I'm happy to say that I have a better, more satisfying definition of celebration. I celebrate everyday and it doesnt have to be a holiday or someone's birthday. My definition of celebration consist of; spending more time with a loved one, telling my children how much I love them, taking the time to talk on the phone for hours to the ones who aren't living with me anymore and also celebrating the breath that I take ever second which keeps me alive. Taking time to myself, enabling myself to find the answers to my life's purpose and remembering how precious life is, that we should not waste one minute of it. Our life here on earth is the gift that God gives to us so we can make the very best of it...what are we going to give God in return?

For those who are still young and dont realize and understand what I'm talking about, its totally ok. I was also once there wearing those uncomfortable shoes, until I went and bought me a better quality, just my size new pair of shoes. These shoes were genuinely custom made to fit my expectations and now I walk on a more secure and a more rewarding path to success and happiness.

For all those who are in my age range, I'm sure you've come to realize how comfortable and satisfying it is to walk on the proper shoes and be on the right track to victory!

And for those who are in my age range and still havent found the right shoes to lead you to walk on the right track. I know you're still probably going around trying on all sorts of shoes but remember, if those havent worked or felt right, you're close to finding the ones that will fit if you just keep pressing forward. Ask yourself, "what is it that I desire in life, what truly motivates me to the point that it brings tears to my eyes?" Don't think about what your kids desire, or husband or anyone else, what do YOU desire in life? Once you asked yourself that question, you will find the answers within your inner being and I'm sure you will find the place that carries the shoes that fit your desires.... and you might realize that the place that you have searched for for so long may be just around the corner. My advice, start reinventing your life now because how Anthony Robbins always says, "Its not how you start your life that counts, its how you end it"

And for those who are not ready, the great Jim Rohn always said "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." this simply means that everything you need to transform your life will appear like magic as long as you are ready and willing to give yourself the opportunity to live in full satisfaction in every aspect of your life.

I just got a call from my daughter Melissa (my eldest) telling me that she's bringing my grand babies over and you know what, I couldn't ask for a better birthday gift than to spend quality time with the 3 little people I love, cherish and praise more than life itself! Happy Birthday to me!!!
